I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Two weeks agone my dad was ship in that location from the hospital to become rehab because he was so weak. My dad ask to go to the hospital because he was having problems breathing they told information technology waa not a emergency, they didn't send him to his family started calling up there and dampened that he go to the hospital.. an considering they send they told his oxygen level an breathing was ok that he didn't need to become.. but when he made to the infirmary his oxygen level was low.. his kidney are doing bad as well 3 years ago he had a kidney transplant i don't believe they was giving him the medicine.. and then now my dad is on a ventilator to help him breathe. They neglected my dad don't ever seen your dear ones there they are the worsted... all they care about is a bank check not the patient's.n.

I would similar to express my gratitude to the staff at Highland Care. On July 5, 2019 my mom was transferred from the hospital to Highland Intendance and the care my mom required and requires is given to her past each and anybody involved. What a difference a twelvemonth makes with the care my mom has received today she'south well and content.

I visited this facility
This a beautifully newly renovated facility. From the moment I walked in everyone was smiling and so kind. In that location was an art show going on at the time and all of the staff were the judges and they were picking out their favorite slice of artwork that the residents created. Information technology was extremely middle warming to meet how proud the residents were of their artwork! I told the woman giving the bout of the facility that I was and so impressed with Highland Intendance Center that I had to write a review!!!

I am a friend or relative of a electric current/past resident
My mom was placed at Highland Care Center. It was a nightmare. Nobody cared. My mom had a feeding tube, simply they never changed or cleaned it. She also had a PICC line, but they never changed the dressing. At the finish, my mom had to be taken to the hospital because the feeding tube got infested. It had a big infection. It happened nether their care, and so I was very disappointed with them. Highland Care Center is a terrible place. They would bring the food, but they would not feed my mom. I did try their nutrient, and it was not very good. And every time I went there, my mom was sitting in a bed of feces or urine. They did have activities, but they didn't encourage anyone.

I visited this facility
I was a resident at Highland Care Heart in 2014 from Baronial to October and the staff was friendly, helpful, caring and knowledgeable. They made my stay pleasant which helped the healing process. The physical therapists were first-class, organized, professional, and they knew what they were doing. There were activities and entertainment. The nutrient for me left a lot to be desired nevertheless, the dietitian ofttimes checked with me to meet if I was satisfied which I thought was actually overnice.

I am/was a resident of this facility
I was a resident at Highland Care Center in Jamaica, New York for 9 weeks in the summer of 2015. I received excellent care during my stay. The nursing and back up staff were professional, attentive and compassionate. Under the guidance of a hands on supervisor the rehab unit of measurement was professionally staffed. The therapists were skilled and determined as well as careful and cautious. The social worker was ever involved and available to all. My stay was pleasant and successful. J. C.

I was an inpatient at Highland, and they don't accept very good care of their patients . I was there for iv months and merely seen the doctor once. The staff all had mental attitude problem,and took their time to help you when you rang for help. The food was icky, I had friends and family members bring me food every day.

My married man is in Highland Intendance. So far, my experience with them has been very practiced. I am very happy with it. I go there every 24-hour interval during different times of the day, and I am very happy with what I take seen. The staff has been very helpful to me and to my hubby. My husband has his own room, and it is fairly big. I have seen the nutrient, and I like information technology. I have non tried information technology, but I take seen it, and I like how it appears on his tray. I don't know what activities they have because he is there for his rehab. They practise have activities, simply I have non attended any of them. They have been very helpful to me. They answer all of my questions. If I have any concerns, they take care of them.

I have been with Highland Intendance for a year and a half. My kickoff impression wasn't swell, but information technology's bound to get much better. What happened was the offset owner wasn't too good, but the new people coming in started to remodel and alter the nutrient. They started to do some skilful things. They have menu games and craft. They bring in people for music and stuff like that. The food is getting better. I'thou in a private room, but it is not spacious. I'm a big guy and I take a wheelchair, so it is kind of cramped. The staff is getting better.

So far our experience at Highland Intendance Center is OK and so far. The room is OK. The food is good. Their dining room is clean and well organized. The staff's attitude is excellent.
